About Scott Huntley Racing

Passion. Persistence. Perseverance.

After five years in national championship karting with multiple P1 qualifying, race wins and fastest laps I moved to single seat car racing in 2019. I competed as a Rookie driver in the BRSCC Avon Tyres FF1600 National Championships with Kevin Mills Racing & finished the season as the 2019  Rookie Vice Champion despite missing 9 races and having no practice before race weekends.

Although I had only one pre-season test day on a full track prior to the season starting, I won my first Rookie Class Cup at my first ever race weekend in cars, straight from karts, at Snetterton in April 2019.

With no pre-race weekend practice, in a new car, new track with a new team, Kevin Mills Racing, I won my second Rookie Class Cup at Brands Hatch in July 2019.

In 2018, I was selected as one of the most promising young drivers in the UK, onto the Motorsport UK Academy AASE programme at Loughborough College. In September 2019 I started my second year. I lived back home in Danbury, Essex, when not living in Leicestershire while I attended Loughborough College.

A former Team McLaren and now a McLaren Plus fan loyality programme member, I am also a member of the Bruce McLaren Heritage Centre Trust in New Zealand. I have worn tributes to founder, Bruce McLaren, Piers Courage, one of Essex's first F1 drivers &

Ayrton Senna on my kart & kart race suit during my time in karting.
